Alison Wonderland is an Australian DJ and electronic music singer. Alexandra Margo Sholler was born in Australia. Alison's fascination with electronic dance music began by her first visit to Candy's Apartment. Allison Cara Tolman was born in America. Her role as Molly Solverson, in season one of FX's Fargo the television show, earned her nominations for Emmy and Golden Globe. Tolman is the eldest of three siblings. She also has two older brothers. At just two months old, her family moved to England where they stayed for 4 years. She was in Oklahoma for five years before moving to Oklahoma and then West Texas before moving to Sugar Land. It was the Fort Bend Community Theatre started her acting training when she turned 10 years young. Clements High School graduated her in the year 2000. Baylor University awarded her a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in theatre performance. She moved to Dallas immediately after graduation, and was One of Second Thought Theatre's founding members. After 2009, Tolman relocated from Chicago, Illinois, to study performance in The Second City Training Center. Tolman was first seen on Fargo, a black-comedy crime drama on FX. Based on the 1996 Coen brothers film of similar title, Fargo starred veteran actors Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman as well as Bob Odenkirk. Tolman was praised for her performance as Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman "calmly, assuredly stole" the show. Tolman was awarded the Critics' Choice Television Award as Best Supporting Actress for a movie/ministry, and was also nominated for Best Actress at both the Emmy Awards & Golden Globes for her performance. It was also in the same year that it was revealed that Tolman will have a guest appearance on The Mindy project on the show as Abby Berman who is a romantic author. She had a role as an actor in Michael Dougherty's movie about horror Krampus. After her breakthrough role on Fargo, Tolman declined several supporting parts as mothers, wives and best friends, looking for a more unusual role. Tolman was a part of ABC on Downward Dog (based on Animal Media Group's web-based series). The show was cancelled after a single season. Tolman played in ABC's Emergence drama, which debuted on the 24th of September, 2019, however it was canceled by ABC following one year of airing at the 21st of May in 2020 even though Tolman tweeting she thought the ratings were "pretty decent". In 2021, she appeared in the role of Alma Filcott in the second season of the drama series Why Women Kill, and she also played Natalie Green in The Facts of Life portion in the third episode of Live in Front of a Studio Audience.
